the aerial is a more powerful option used on the benz's, the installation cost was about $150, i have a spare one if someone wants it.

Without the red bump strips or the XR wheels it doesn't look like an XR anymore, more like an EF GLi with an XR front-end conversion.

Don't get me wrong though its a hot looking car, just doesn't scream "XR" anymore without the spoiler (but i 'spose thats what you wanted eh? )

i'd put the spoiler back on, looks much better with a spoiler. I like those wheels too, and it looks heaps good with the black strips instead of red.

Rims look great. I like the minimal look without the spoiler looks clean.

I wouldnt pick it for XR either, id personally just get the XR kit n leave the spoiler off = look hot and still look clean/sleek which is obviously what your after.

thanks for your thoughts guys, Mr Snipa X has my spoiler now, so no going back, (hope you like it) my wife asked why I just didn't buy a gli - and she's probably right (for first time ever!) I really wanted an EF Fairmont but couldn't find one with 8 spark plugs which was essential.

Our guys at our dealership (sorry I work for holden) fitted the exaust, it is a 2.5 " single with the biggest twin tips available without looking over the top. No extractors but has a decent rumble cost total of $550.

Our performance car department is called Port Vehicle Enhancements, (Port Macquarie NSW) we can get anything - wheels, lowering & exhaust specialists (ford & HSV)

The wheels are the ROH Chicane, a bit high maintenance, I had considered selling them for some BA GT's like fuzion's. Unless I get offered serious money for them I can't afford to change. (17x8 & bridgestones)

that car would like more horn if it had the bodykit looks waaaay to much like a GLi. It might as well be a Gli with a XR8 badge
