Yeah the red stripe on your car looks great. And nothing wrong with it!
But dude, you have to admit, the picture above with the red stripe blacked out, looks f**k menacing. It really looks good and if it were I, now that I've seen it, I would have to think long and hard about having it made black, not removed, just made black.

Yeah I reckon the black on the green would look great! And I vote again for keeping the spoiler on!

A fairmont ghia with kit, no spoiler = hot/sleek!
A ripping xr8 with kit, no spoiler = someone stole it/cant afford the whole kit!

Sorry, but this is a strong vote for Spoiler, NO red lines!

Cant denie it, the xr is meant to look mean; the spoiler suits the kit VERY well, why take it off, biggest wasted $600 IMHO.

I like it without the spoiler and red stripe! It looks tough and gives you that little bit of "individualism" (is that a word? lol") from the other XR8s out there! It looks mean! Id also get clear side indicators to finish it off.

Keep spoiler and especially th red stripe. I can see the argument behind losing the spoiler, but the red stripe is the s**t. Keep it for sure.

They're Simmons FR19's I think. Might be 18's. A very nice wheel...I've always wanted some gold centred ones for my maroon XR :D

Thanks guys,

Yeah they're FR 19's, Grey Centre and Polished outer.

If anyone can point me in the direction, i would like to look at getting some clear indicators, but i was under the impression, that virtually nothing fits the XR's.

Also, if any of you guys see me cruising at the Nats next year, pull me over and have a chat if you want, and if there's room, a cruise around too.
By the way, is anyone going next year, and if you are, would you be camping inside?

I'm in two minds as welli got an EF fairmont with a factory fitted spoiler and I like the look, but with the 2 different angles is kinda hard to compare, the no spoiler looks lean, fast & mean. but then the spoiler looks kewl too in the other pic, how bout takin another with the same perspective, more or less, of the spoiler off and mybe we can be a little more definate. but for now i gotta go with my fav, keep the damn spoiler on!!! Hope this helps....... 8-) and guy, smick looking car either way.

Yeah, it depends what rubber you get, but the Simmons are $800-900 a rim for 8" wide, mine might be a little more cause they're 9" fronts and 9.5" rears.
Plus tyres. So yeah $4,500 would get them brand new with cheap tyres.

But i got mine off a guy who had them for a month and got them a bit cheaper! 8-)
I don't think even i would spend that much on a new set of wheels...
