Give us a bit more detail, like how it's mounted.
Bob

pop your boot and unbolt it. You need to get holes filled though.

The spoiler is held on by either 4 or 6 bolts, all located in the bottom of your boot lid obviously - they may be covered by rubber grommets if done properly and these will need to be popped off before you can gain access to the bolts.
When you see the bolts, take them off, then the spoiler should come off with a little force, being careful not to destroy paint/bodywork.. There is a double sided tape/foam layer between the boot and the spoiler in most cases and this will be stuck to everything when it is removed, obviously clean this with something that can clean up sticky stuff and that should leave you with the last bit, the wire to the brake light if its built into the spoiler; if so just trace it down, to behind the carpeted panel in the boot and remove the spiced wire and retape any exposed with wire electrical/insulating tape. That should be bout it, its really pretty simple, just take time n just do things properly.

thanks Daniel, reply much appreciated mate!
500 bucks??!!! how hard is it to repaint a spoiler? its biscayne blue so its damn hard trying to find a replacement. wouldnt it be cheaper just to buy an aftermarket spoiler. once again thanks Daniel

Sorry, was talking about repainting bootlid, i wrongly guessed when u meant remove spoiler, u wanted it off n gone completely for good.
To paint it up shouldnt cost much at all actually.. good luck.

With the 3 holes, you'll probably need to have them bogged and have that painted. |
