Looking to get my car resprayed in Perth. Anyone got the gear to do it themselves or connections to get me a good price. Am open to suggestions for a different color or to keep my original color (heritage green).

Btw i would pay for your time and effort.

a respray will be cheaper ie keep the same colour
for a full colour change u are lookign at BIG a** $$$ as all the doors, sill pannels, under gurards etc need to be changed
as for a a DIY job i would not even attempt it if you lay the clour on wrong or get the mix of paint/thinners wrong it will go to s**t

there are ppl who offer resprays for $500 but i would not trust them.
best bet is to go to a few panel shops and ask around speak to the manager/painters etc
and get some quotes. then u can c what you are up for.
B&B in navel base i have been told aree realy good ( titan ford used to send the T Series there )
and there is aplace in kelmscott no idea of the name

well i got a mate with the gear and he's done his own and reckons it shouldn't cost more than $1000. Cause thats what it cost him to do his car. I was just hoping there'd be someone here willing to do a cashjob.

yer ? nice how well did the paint come up?
not to put you off your mate or anything bu there is a fair amount of prep work when it comes to respraying a car
does he havea spray booth?

ohh and if it a straight respray ie no bodywork etc you could get away with about $1500 depends ont eh panel shop
