Does anybody have any tips on repairing stone chips on bonnet/front guards? The rest of the body is in perfect condition, other than the front bar which looks like it has been sand blasted, and the previous owner has had a crack at repairing a few with touchup paint but the result is crap. Need to do something short of respraying as it gives me the s**t everytime I give it a wash. Had a guy from "Ducomagic" come out to give me a quote to repair the stone chips but I think it scared him off when he seen how good the rest of the car's paint is. Didn't want to dissapoint me with the end result I think. Said that it is hard to get a good result with stone chips but he would give me a price anyway. Not returning my calls and no quote as yet. Any Idea's/Tips?? Forget about front bar, it will need full respray.

i tried this bottle called paint cure and it come with a little filler stick that i thought looked like lipstick, anyways, i tried that and you polish on the color, which was the easy part, and hey presto marks gone... well most of them its only the big ones i've had trouble with but if they're small, your set. oh by the way i got it from super cheap and i think it was about nineteen bucks. goodluck!
