I know theres heaps of posts on lowering but I'm having trouble finding some pics. I'm lowering my car and I've got superlows and ultralows, but not sure which ones to use (along with Monroe GT Gas shocks/struts all round).

I'm on 18s so can someone post up a pic of their EF/EL with 18s and superlows, and someone with an EF/EL on 18 and ultralows (Kings).

Thanks!

- Lukey

I can't help with 18's, but check my gallery if you want, with 19's and Ultra's.

Well with Supers, the top of the tyre will be pretty well level with the wheel arch, whereas with Ultra's the tyre should be 20mm or more inside the wheel arch.
Super lows still make the car look pretty low, but Ultra's wil make it looked dumped bad.
As long as you're prepared to take it very easy over bumps and up driveways, etc, then i'd go the Ultra's too, because the Super's, will still be almost as much of a pain in the a** anyways.
Also, there's another EL in my gallery, but its my mates old Futura, that had 17's with Super Lows, and sat pretty nicely i must admit.

im not to sure what my springs are, i thought they were superlows (back end anyway) but they are dropped by 70mm, and its really not that low at all at the back, top of the tyre isnt even at the wheel arch. the pics on my home page are the most recent, but i also had a TV and extra spare wheel in the car.

ive got superlows and 17's. its not too bad, tho at work it scrapes on a couple of the ramps. but 18's would give u a bit more height to balance out the ultras

that looks nice. did u put the ultra lows to make the car look more even? cause i was planning on doing that but i have too many speed humps around.

You'll still find that Superlows will give you enough grief around Speed humps, as Ultra's do.
Thats kinda why i got the Ultra's, if its going to be a hassle anyway, i might as well have it sitting really low.

yes... at 1st i had lovells superlows allround... looked like the car was in the doggystlye position... face down a** up in the recieving position... didnt stay that way for long... so i stuck with the lovells superlows at the front but installed king spring ultra lows on the rear to level out the ride height... worked well as u can see...
