Is there any way you can polish out swirl marks from metalic paint by hand without having to get a pro with a buff (big dollars was qouted up to 600bucks} the paint is like new apart from swirl marks that look ugly in the sun.

if you have been quoted around 600 they are pulling your leg it should be nomore then 150

mothers swirl remover is great stuff ,you should be able to get it from
any good auto shop

If the paint is fresh you will have a bit of trouble as it takes a few weeks to cure properly.Once it has cured a good swirl remover as decribed above and then a good quality polish with a large percentage of carnuba wax should do the job
