Hi, im wanting to remvie the 4.0 lt badges from the sdes of the car and was wandering the best way and easiest without damaging the paint ? will the paint under the badge be as good as the rest of the car ? thanks

I`ve heard you can use fishing line to remove badges.
But thats it from me for now.

are those badges just on with like a double sided tape or are there gonna be holes if i take it off ? thanks

pretty sure the side badges don't have holes under them - lol but don't take my word for it! maybe run some fishing wire thru it & see if it catches on anything!

as for the paint - well thats anyones guess really - if the rest of the paintwork is good, then i'd doubt there will be much of a difference - but if your bodywork is really faded, then yeah they'll prolly look pretty odd...

only 1 way to find out! :P

there is no holes behind them i have taken mine off.
use a hairdryer to heat them up, makes it much easier to take off

Once you get them off wash the area down with a little prepsol to remove any traces of remaining glue and then give it a good polish

thanks just took them off looks nice now
It had xr6 badges and 4.0 lt ones bt now its badge free, i like it. Thanks guys
