Hi all,

I helped my cousins get a Territory so they can go for a drive around australia.

The Territory is a Ghia with a factory Ford/Rola roof rack.. but sadly there is no key provided with it.

We just picked up a luggage pod and I need to move the rack closer together but without the key I can't seem to do squat.

I seems that way, but does the key just stop removal but still allows them to slide back and forth? If that is the case I will exert more force as I don't think it's moved in many years.

anyone know their way around these things?

regards

Frank

hi frank long time no see on here Hows things hows the XR6t going?

i just tried this on mums territory, factory racks, seems on mum one the key had to be in the horizontal position for the button on the rack to slide in easy for the rack to move.
Im also going to guess that there was a few different sets of keys for them (no surprise there really) wonder if ford can tell you the key number based upon the VIN number of that car for another one to be cut. i can provide pics of mums key if needed.

Rob
