Having a major cleanup at home and everything needs to go. Will do a more detailed listing in For Sale section once I have documented all the bits I have, but basically, if you need a part for your DA-DC/NA-NC chances are I have it! I'm even selling the DC rear Qtr Glass if anyone's interested. Send me a PM with your requirements and I will shoot you a price.

Cheers,
Mick

Well I survived Christmas but the NF has not faired so well we had an issue of killing the auto by hooning about playing silly buggars - you think that at my age I'd grow up .... but no. So now we are going to have a 5.0 V8 5 speed NF courtesy of evl098 who just happened to have a V8 convo for sale at the right time and place!
I am hoping to get most of it done on the 7/8th of jan but I've got till end of Jan off work so it should be sweet! Oh I love a manual Fairlane this will be my third one, ZB 302-W, ZD 351-C and now the NF!
Have a great new years barge-a** fans! :D

Anyone in the Wollongong area looking for that extra special LTD, take a look at this

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Australian-P ... 4ab287f8d0

Seriously considered taking a run down to take a look, but a long way to go for me, so decided to share

Thats just a Fairlane with an LTD grille and wheels.

I also doubt it was owned by the PMs department. They are usually specced with a v8 for that sort of work.

The wankers are full of s**t.

Heres an LTD. Note the much nicer interior. V8 was standard fitment on LTD too. You could delete option the 6 though.

Mick,

I'm not sure mate. I thought the indicators lens' on the front quarters were white/clear and the rear of the side mirrors were chrome? Just some little things about it in the photos is a bit strange... And the Seller had (0) feedback? Ah oh! :o lol

Anyway, enough about that. Thought it was a tidy car for a good price...tht's all!

Here are a few pics of the Lane from today. Hasn't been getting a lot of attention lately, so I gave it a good detailing and went for a cruise

Still the nicest NC around mate. Looks perfect.

I didn't mean anything by my comments about that Fairlane, just don't like dishonest dealers. No offence meant.

Thanks FairV8, and no offence taken SLO. I don't know anything about the later models, so it was a learning curve for me as well.

I noticed that this Fairlane has been removed from Flea Bay. Either some poor bugger has been sucked in believing that it was a PM's Dept. car or the dealer has been caught out and pulled it. I am pretty certain that it is a Fairlane Ghia with LTD extras bolted on. I asked a mate who does actually drive these cars in Canberra if they had 6 cylinder Fairlanes in the Pm's fleet and he said No only V8's. There were some 6 cylinder models in the government fleet but they were not used for high ranking MP's. The steering wheel has also had an aftermarket cover put over it. If it was a genuine Momo then it must have had some use to wear out.
