Ride: 90' Ford Fairlane SVO

Here's my SVO Fairlane I picked up last week. I'm very new to the larger Fords, but I'm loving every second with my SVO. Such a beautiful car.

Nice tidy example you have there, has wood too

Good luck with the "tidy up" That's how I first started with the Lane as well......one thing leads to another and before you know it...........

hmm looking back wasnt a good idea lol.
so looks better back when i got it. wish i didnt screw with it

im currently in 2 minds on what to do with it atm.
its currently sitting at my parents out of rego in the paddock

trans blew, by just limped it the 220k's it had to travel as i had no car to tow the heavy barge.
you know its stuffed when it drinks nearly a tank of fuel highway driving to 220k's and wont hold 110 or 4th gear

found the cause of the misfire too. blown headgaskets arent nice.

had a few other big issues with it also.
yet the magna i bought hasnt skipped a beat.

Thanks georgio_300 and NCIILANE.
I'm going to try and get in contact with Mick Webb, see if he can tell me if it's a genuine SVO or not. Fingers cross!

Yeah, but I guess someone could have got lucky and found these parts on a write off at the wreckers. I just want to be sure. Still, I would be happy if it isn't as it's a beautiful Fairlane non the less.
It has this bonnet emblem on it: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-FORD ... 3cc52ce3e0

Thanks. Yeah, that's how I bought it. I'm pretty sure it's standard.
