my FE ltd in New Zealand, before putting 25mm spacers on the front, rear rims are on 30mm spacers more photos to come when i can be bothered haha

***if anyone over in aus has any parts for these cars and could help me out that would be good, not too many parts floating around over here, definatly after another set of taillights (to tint) preferably the zk ltd taillights?? also after some knowledge on a v8 conversion i.e what would be my best option, being the car is already running EFI would it be easier putting in an EFI v8 from the 'E' series falcon fairmont etc??

also are xf springs identical to the ones in the FE? and do i need to take the air shocks out of it in order to get it sitting on its a***??? :)

cheeeers!

feargame, if the 20s rock your boat (so to speak), then more power to ya... personally i think the old wheels have a meaner stance

already owned the 20s before the car and the outlaws were in s**t condition with 4x f**k tyres so would rather run with the 20s considering theyre practically brand new, theyre only 9inch at the front the rears are 10 and look alot better

I personally think it could look a lot better with say 17's or 18's with the same profile tyre, then lower it to the rims. As it is, with 20's, there just too much space under that body!
I mean, it's good to have as little space as possible between the wheels and guards, but if you've got a massive space between the car body and ground, it kinda defeats the purpose. But hey, that's just my opinion. I'd be selling those wheels and getting some smaller ones and some tiny tyres. The FE looks really nice though man :)

Oh and hey georgio_300, that LTD looks great also!

dont you worry its going to be lowered on these rims and will look good, 17s and 18s look too small on these cars

yeah the boot has a little rust from when my grandfather gave it to me but he popped some of that black s**t on it so it wouldn't get worse till i paint it. The top of the boot looks like a dried up lake bed.
Well i'm taking it to my mate's shop this week to get a quite one it then i'll get him to fix the dents, replace the front bumper and repaint it. I got a few colours in mind but can't make up my mind.

Nice pick-up mate! Looks very clean.

You don't have to own a LWB tank to appreciate their beauty, but it helps :P

Cheers,
Mick

Unfortunately my Fairlane got smooshed,

got rear ended so hard it pushed me into the car in front, so poor 'lane smashed front, rear, and bent in the middle. wrote off :(

Replaced it with a LTD instead...

Need to go take some pics of it.
