yeah, common problem, you have to modify the brackets. Cut off the 'ears' (where the countersunk factory hole is) and drill a new hole to line up with the screw hole in the head unit.

clutch cable hole. unless you're planning to convert it to manual

this. it's easy as in the 6's. the V8's have the TCU kinda in the way. it's possible, not annoying.

where on earth is the clutch cable, we were thinking of putting it through where the cable for the boot release is but there's not enough space for the 4ga wire

engine bay, drivers side, towards the top, you'll spot a rubber plug blocking it. It's just big enough for 4GA.

dont be a dodgy f**k like above... go to jaycar and buy a metal cable gland then drill a new hole and secure it safely and its also water proof. clutch cable hole is just asking for trouble

enough about bloody doof doof stezza's! Here's a couple of pics of the lane from a recent, but rare cruise into Newie foreshore to get us back on topic :P

If you look closely, the side chrome trim is up the s**t! So today I pulled them all off and refitted them, "carefully this time", with this 3M auto tape I bought from evilbay (china). Just needs a tidy up on the ends with the dremmel and they will be better than new

Might get a chance to put some more pics up tomorrow arvo when I'm finished, if I get time after the drive over to Caves Beach to welcome the Sydneysiders to Lake Mac!
Cheers,
Mick

Thanks georgio, sits much better on the 18's than it did on 17's.
You should have kept your LTD as a side project! I have considered selling mine to move onto another project I have on the drawing board, but I just can't do it! I'll just have to make room for said project
