I'm looking forward to it, too! It needs a new exhaust for roady, which is a good excuse for a catback, maybe some extractors to match. Also thinking of camming it while I'm switching the engines over. It's on dual fuel, looking around at liquid/vapour systems to improve upon that once the I6 is in. As always, money will be the key!

Looking good NLGHIA5.0! :D

So, I gave my girl a good wash, buff and polish the other day and thought it was a good time for some pictures.

Thanks NCIILANE. How come you got rid of the Sportsman mate?
NLGHIA5.0: Yeap, it's an SVO :)
I really want to modify one of these boxcar LWB, but I think I should just restore this one and buy another.

Your really turning into Mr lane arent you Nc. Hell, I remember talking to you about my Nc 5L when I had it 3 years ago. Man I miss that car. She was called " the love boat". V8 arm chair with so much character. Ive even been thinking about selling the Ef and getting another Nc 5L just for the joy of driving one again. Beautiful car, not as crisp as the Nf/NL but I loved the box shape. Good to see your's is still rolling.

Time to get a new battery for the LTD. What a minefield. Though my terminals are holed so that limits me ie bolts on terminals/posts. Not as many batteries with holes in posts. Anyone with a good recommendation?

Last battery was a Bosch 450 cca. Looking for higher cca I reckon, seeing its a V8.

Change your terminals. Cost you maybe $20 from supercrap for some decent ones. I have read 450 is too small, cant remember whats in my Ef but its either 530 or 650 cca.

i ran a 240cca battery from k-mart in most of my old falcons... V8's will need a bit more but i had no issues starting a 6 with the smaller CCA units.
