Nice ride, man! Good to see people interested in these :)

NCIILANE:
Loving the new edition! Sportman, eh? Vert nice!
They had different wheels to the ones currently fitted, didn't they? I've noticed a set going on eBay lately - You should get them!

DL LTD:
That's a sweet 5.8L! So tough looking!
As for posting pictures, I'd use a site like http://theimagehost.net/ because Fordmods don't allow decent sized images. Once uploaded to an external site, just copy the BBCode and paste it here :)

I'll be doing a manual conversion to my NA SVO soon, as my auto box is almost dead. I'll make a thread for it when I start 8-)

Hi, can anyone tell me what the roof aerial is used for on the ltds/fairlanes? I know they are at least on the e-series models (I have a DF ltd). Its about to go into the paint shop and thinking about removing it. But can't find info on it. Its the one in the middle aft section of the roof.
its getting resprayed in 'apollo blue' like the xb gt's should look nice. Will post pics when completed ( maybe around Christmas)

you will find they are for the in car phone kits, they act as an external aerial on old phones.

They are actually LTD armrests that I have had recovered in a matching grey vinyl at an auto trimmer. The door trims are from EL Ghia with LTD trims. Strangely the LTD armrests have different mounting points to the cloth covered Fairlane ones Had the exhaust done today so heres a couple of pics.
