Yeah, I'll be removing it too, eventually.
As for auto to manual, check out these threads below (You'll have to register, but that's not big deal). They go right through it, step by step:

Thanks. I haven't really decided if I'll do the conversion yet. Think I'm going to stick with auto for now anyway.. But will come in handy if I do. Cheers.

Holy hell, that looks good MetalNick. Especially the first two pictures! Those wheels with the car sitting at the height is just sexy. Very nice set up. Also the LTD is a very nice base 8-)

My god haven't been on the forums in a while and look what I've been missing!
MetalNick that is an amazing looking Fairlane! i love the wheels in the first 3 pictures over the dark agents. Really clean ride mate!

Here's mine as she stands atm, just trying to find an external sunvisor to paint the same colour as the body (is proving very hard to find), and then chucking in some extractors and getting it dynoed. Let me know what you think.

Good to see the love for barge asses is still alive and well, but as with most things, FB is taking over. There's a wealth of knowledge for the young player in these pages and would be a shame to see it disappear.
Love the new DC Lowlane.....what colour is that? Would be a rare one as I've only seen a few like that before.
I'm currently in the process of clearing out all of my DC LTD spares, as well as the DL I have here.....oh, and a 94 laser :P Got a bloke on his way now to pick up power steering pump and water pump. Don't seem to be having any trouble moving the DC bits, but the DL remains largely intact....can't give away spares off it!
Cheers,
Mick
Here's a pic of a nice big a**........just how we like it :P

This is just about the only thread I regularly come to. a lot of information here!
I'll put up some pics of my df ltd. currently in the paint shop so she is very bare at the moment and not much to look at. I was going Apollo Blue but apparently that colour is not in any system and they cant colour match without a sample so I had to try and find something similar on their current charts. Quite annoyed as I was pretty set on that colour.. its now going bright blue pearl metallic or something along those lines.
NCIILANE, it looks like I have the same wheels going on my LTD. I'm still yet to know what they look like because the car has been stripped since I bought the wheels. I might be interested in a few of your DL bits too. what colour interior? could you post a few pics of it on here? cheers!

A little hard to see the colour from a photo of a sample but you get the idea.

Love the ride height! What suspension are you running? I pretty keen on a set of XYZ coil overs but its just a matter of $$.
