If I've learnt anything from 7 years on FM, we've just given the the thread a little boost and given the usual trolls something to talk about!

Don't want to discourage you from giving your 5c, makes this otherwise boring site a little interesting......if only for a day :P

"Bring on the trolls!"
I've got a Broadsword with a plus 9 against trolls lol.

Nah, I dont think there are many around ATM.. its very quiet on the fordmods front of late....

Thats what this place is all aboot..

back on track.....

HOPEFULLY!!!!!!

Going to Newcastle at the end of this week.. The missus loves Dolly Parton, so I've booked a brownie points surprise and gonna take her to a concert in Pokolbin(?).

This foot aids I have should clear up and I will have mobility and free time to smash out the lowlane and finish it off, then start playing with Lincoln....

Went to the wreckers the otherday to hit them up about the NF fairlane they had.... they stripped and scrapped it...

Only problem is it was a "fast moving parts only" strip.....

All interior, carpet (that I need!!) and dash undercarriage and diff all gone......

I'm wrecking an NL and the carpet in it is mint! It's cappa though and it still has the diff, don't think it's LSD though. Pokolbin is only 30 minutes from my place

I wonder what would happen if I walked into the airport with a diff and carpet as my carry-on Rofl..

I'm after grey carpet preferably.. But if it comes to it I could just paint it..

Spewin the trip is pretty solidly booked. And I'm only going to Pokolbin for the concert..
I'd love to see your car!

Haha, If you want to! I'll do some doughies in the rental car too if ya do lol. :P

Also Dirty30.. I have no idea on what the are worth in good condition. But I have a extra wheel that needs recovering.. No centre though. (Local aboriginals love carving steering wheels up with knives dammitt!)

Unfortunately, those that have the momo wheels are asking stupid money for them, especially somplete with switches. Expect to pay at least $400+
If someone actually fronted up with $400 cash, I don't think I would say no

Well, I've got an extra, as mentioned its rough. I was almost gonna throw it out a while back but somthing made me pack it away instead.

It's funny how parts are hard to come by sometimes. I remember a few years back the power window switches for EA-ED were really hard to find and the wreckers were asking $100+ for a working set. Now I have 2 on my shelf and haven't heard of anyone looking for one... Maybe I was the only one looking/needing in town... :?:

Fairlane headlights were around $300 each..

XR twin headlamps are the same, you hear of people selling them for $2-300 a side..

I think I might keep mine though, even without the centre they look cool..

@georgio

Mmm Concorde.... (We need a drool emoticon  ) I am still waiting for the day my Missus uncle will part with his Concorde rims he has...

As you can see from the pic I posted of the wheel, it's not in the best shape either. Going to try and restore it before it gets to go in the Lane, if I can't get it to where I'm happy with it, I'll throw it up on ebay and let the hunters fight over it

haha :D
I'm a bit shattered though, after parking it in the city last weekend i received a nice tow bar dent on the front bumper under the chrome trip next to the number plate.
The funny thing is i know who must've done it. It was some f***k wit in a green Landcruiser that was parked in front of me but I don't remember his plates.
:/
