Been a while since I posted. But hopefully next week my dad and I will be lowering rosey (her new name due to the colour being rosewood). I won some selby springs on ebay which should drop her an " which is what I want. I also got a new 2.5" single muffler cat back to got with the extractors and cat.
Her windows have been tinted and I've replaced my dash lights with LEDs. I also got some chrome 12 slotters from my aunt because I don't like big chrome wheels. While doing the springs I'll also be replacing the ball joints and control arm bushes as they are shot. I have also painted a few interior bits as I had paint left over from painting my chrome exterior trim bits.

Sounds good bro.
12 slotters look sweet on the E series, especially with a nice dish and some fat tyres.

The we're on my aunts eb and they looked sweet I just need to touch up the chrome because of surface rust. Once I need new tyres I'm getting some dark horse tyres for them. Should be sweet.

Hi There,
Shortened shocks and falcon superlow springs. 16" Genuine SVO wheels. Front need to come down another 1" to be level with the rear. Looking at reducing tyre size for more drop. --Chris |

Hey guys, been a while.Had some issues with passing of family members,ex playing up a bit,and other rubbish but all over and done with.
DL has been ok.Total work cost so far, just under $14,400! Still haven't got the leather done, yet, and will be getting new front and rear bumpers for her, redo the tint and go from there. After all that will look at reco the transmission. At the moment it has been having some start problems.Turn key and all power is there but nothing happens under the bonnet.Sometimes it takes a few turns before it starts, sometimes heaps.Thinking it may be starter,as last time I lifted bonnet for a quick look at the connections, closed it and then it started so maybe the closing jarred something in starter.Buggered if I know, need to sort it. Generally it's been running beautifully up until the starting issue a month or so ago,(very intermittent),and on gas can get 400km before I flick over to petrol.Handles well, drives lovely, enough power for what I want, kids love being comfortable. Now all family crap is done, will be spending more time here. |

HI all! I am having some problems with my df ltd. I'm trying to fit some hm headers extractors but the left hand side is hitting on the k frame mount. This is quite strange, I have done a lot of research into it but can't find a reason for it. I'm sure there is no difference between falcon and fairlane/Ltd front ends but can anyone tell me if there actually is?? I have a 96 df Ltd 5.0L. Hm headers don't know of any issues here. Anyone else had problems with this? My next move is to get them custom fitted.. but I shouldn't have to. Thanks guys!

Yeah, engine mounts was one of the first things i checked. They look good. I have measured engine position to an EL xr8 and they match exactly. I think I'll just have to put it on a truck and take it in to get it custom fitted. I have been reluctant to because I think I shouldn't need to but I just want to get her on the road. Thanks.

Would anyone know if I can buy new rear windows for nf/nl/df/dl fairlanes/LTD's?? I am chasing either just the molded seal or complete rear window. I am going to try and salvage one this weekend from a nl fairlane but chances are I won't be able to re use the molded seal again.
Has anyone ever had to change a rear window? If so was there anywhere to purchase a new one? |

Try Obrien Glass, I heard that they were doing rear windows for the EF/EL.
I can't confirm that but worth a phone call. Knowing their pricing, you better be sitting down. |
