Of course, lol. I'm casually looking around for the same.

Just out of interest, what can yours do 0-100KM/h in?

Try getting a full set of factory wood for less than $500, that's if you can find a complete set  There is a company in Melbourne that do reproduction wood on your stock grey trim, but they are around the $500 mark as well.
As for the 0-100??? Dunno never timed myself. Not about to go out and do a test run either as I just got back from a cruise in town and I am now having temperature issues since installing the underdrives
Time for a coolant change  , I just bought a bottle of Tectaloy Gold Concentrate so hopefully that will keep things in check once it's changed. Thanks to Biggav for his advise on coolants :)

Alrighty! I talked myself into it. Sent him an email and will probably pick up next Saturday. Now to break the news to the missus, she'll either love me or hate me, I never can tell :P

You're getting a new car at a good price, just for her too, how couldn't she be happy with it?
These cars are a comfy drive, I'm sure she'll come to like it after she drives it :D.

Can anyone else post their NA-NC Fairlane or LTD acceleration time (0-100KM/H of course)?

I'm just curious how they compare to other vehicles, mainly some friends ricer cars.
I've read that it's 10.25 seconds for the three speed models, but that's when they were new. Also I'm guessing those numbers were obtained under favorable conditions, too.

I came to the decision because I have been looking for woodgrain as you know, and this just happens to have the complete set, so the way I figure it, I get my wood and the missus gets her lane.....win, win! And the car is for free if you look at it that way!
Oh, and no LTD transformation for this one, I kinda like the chrome lane grille and I plan to restore it to it's true sportsman spec......less wood of course :P

Deal has been done! I'm now the proud new owner of a NA Sportsman Lane. Have arranged to collect on Saturday and work will start straight away ripping the head off and also removing the d**k trans. Will be stealing the Trans from the EB for the time being and throwing a new head gasket on it and fixing up any other little issues I find so I can get it pink slipped before mid march when the 3 months expire.
Timely decision too as I think the Blue Monty is on it's last legs.......not running to well at all, according to the missus
Oh! and she's as happy as a pig in s**t about the new acquisition :D
