That's certainly a unique vehicle you've got there! I saw it on StreetFords too, it's amazing how long you look at its shape and all.

NCIILANE
Good to hear you bought that sportsman.
I've got a bit of a random question too: are your exterior door handles metal or plastic?

all falcons from EA onwards use plastic door handles. would be nice if they were metal...

Can something be done about this f**k annoying page fault, with this thread in particular...........the correct page number does not get shown until there are at least 4 new posts on that page :? You have to go to the New Posts list to access the page by clicking on the right hand post time of the person who last posted.....very bloody annoying

1995 LTD. New rims, sports exhaust, needs lowering and tint. New Kenwood deck, the disc changer was faulty. Bought the car about 18months ago. In pretty mint condition. Have had a few hiccups along the way with electronic management systems failing, but a great and beautiful car to drive. And I am from Newie as they say and the driver of this post is from T'rnto. Hey lets catch up.

G'day bluntltd,

Welcome to FordMods mate. Nice ride you have there. From Trono' are ya! I grew up there but havn't lived there since I left school(many many years ago  ) I live at Cardiff now.
Should be plenty of opportunities to catch up. Our local cruise mod, ebxr82nv, has plenty of ideas for cruises and we also attend any car shows that pop up through the year between here and Sydney.
Keep an eye on the cruise section for details of any upcoming shows or meets that might be happening. Or if you are real keen for a cruise, I regularly head down to Liverpool on Friday nights to meet up with other Fordmods members. It's a great drive and a good place to hand out to dribble all about our fords.

Cheers,
Mick

Gotta be happy with that mate! Good pick-up on the wood too, took me 18 months to find my set, not a fan of the shifter though, I prefer the Leather'n'chrome NL shifter, but as long as you like it, that's all that matters.
Good luck with the build mate
Cheers,
Mick

yeh, the idea of the shifter was to give it a european look/feel to it, but i need to replace the shifter bushes, its loose, but i think a manual conversion is on the cards.

i have seen a few other NCs out in perth in the similar colour to mine, but a respray in planned as there is rust starting to show.

NCIILANE, i had been looking for my woodgrain ever since i got the car, which is about 12 months, i saw the items on ebay but they were asking $150-160 for each item, i ended up finding a complete set at a local wreckers for the reasonable price.

future plans beside the respray (colour pending) and manny conversion are a sunroof, LTD or custom-made leather interior, LTD Grille, lowering and some rims, basically i want to give this car a euro look to it.
