okie dokie ill try and clear some things up here...
the reasons they are facing this direction is because: during winter all the heat coming out would fog up the windscreen, by law its illegal for them to face backwards as if you blow a hose it will spray liquid (water or oil depending what blows) all over the windscreen loosing visability, we also thought about the way ford designed things, heat is acually SUCKED down under the car so the way i have it will just add some cold air into the flow (to stop my legs sweating which was the main reason i put the vents in in the first place) the vents sit directly over the exhaust manifold and intake manifold so it will help with cooling alot better then a vent outwards. and it looks better in this direction  ill upload some pics of the vents sitting in different positions

Yes, most cars, if not all, suck air out from under firewall after it passes through the radiator and around the various components of the "make it go" bits found in the engine bay...
Fair enough, that'll work well... Keep the tootsies cooler.,....! |

yeah lol it could be the middle of winter and i would have sweat dripping from my legs.... its that bad...
next up will be some heat shielding for the floor to sit above the cat... might use an AU exhaust shield |

hey all, well if you know me i had 2 nc ghia's loved em, over the christmas break i went out and got a 08 bf gt great car had it for four months untill.. spent a month in hospital however im delighted to say i have been bitten by the bug again and bought a nl concord 5ltr.

a few shots from my day today, got a bit upset as its my daughters 5th birthday and i havnt seen her in over 12 months so i had to get away alone for a while... was awesome up the mountains

i was on my way from a property in coldstream, really crap road rough and gravely long story short, doing about 100ks left rear wheel hit the dirt and the tc shat itself got crossed up, and collected a tree 3feet wide. on the upside, the insurance is paying for some engine work for the new toy

Police hate me, blah blah blah.... Anyway, that happened on my daughter fifth birthday, who I don't get to see that often either. I was actually just out n a nice sunday drive to get away from it all myself. Asswipes. |
