Welcome aboard Mick (Tickford NC) yeah i bought my first Long wheel base Ford back in early eighties and have had one ever since! I reckon if you don't love the Fairlane LTD's you just don't know them, love em - I'll be buried in one if I could

Tickford NC wrote: How you doin, bought my Fairlane last year to use as a daily work hack, never really thought much of them but I must say it has grown on me. Since then I have spent a little time modifying it with the usual upgrades, full DC LTD interior, yes with wood and the electric seats, correct kickpanels, door trims etc. Really neatens the interior up. Has an LTD grille now and a few other little nick nacks. It was originally an NC Sportsman edition, Tickford 4L, it's on LPG, drives well and has been looked after. They are a really good car for the money as I have found out, it always gets comments and attention. Nice comfortable cruiser. Can put up more if anybody likes it Cheers for now Mike Those wheels MAKE the car... nice work... where did ya get'em?

Didn't know people actually modify these cars and didn't know a forum existed, found it by mistake whilst Googling, thought I'd drop in and say G'day. Thanks for the replies guys, wheels are from antiquetyres.com. They are actually off my other car but whilst it's on the road I thought I'd give it a swaparoo, it looks pretty cool.
