hey everyone its official i have traded in my falcon for a 2006 ford focus due to extreme petrol pricing so i have gone from a 4litre engine down to a 2litre engine but the interior in the focus is really nice im not looking back at the falcon only cause of the power the falcon had but the focus is really zippy and has a lot of power to offer for a small car'

i posted this n here cause this is were i always tak to people about the falcon so those who know me there ya go lol

A wise decision with the super gay petrol prices we have. I'm always on the lookout for a more economincal car or some magical fantastical way to make mine use less petrol.

I dont think the focus is all that more fuel efficient, but hope you save some money, and newer cars are always nice :D

Should have waited another month or so!! XR5 turbo!! it would have performance to match a falcon and better fuel economy as well! but still the normal focus' are very nice and stylish cars! hope all goes well with it :)

You're the smart among the majority of us here who continue to get raped in the a** by these fuel prices. Hope she treats ya well mate.

I could either sell my car or go gas, but the thing with gas is, is it REALLY worth it.

i think ill continue driving my ba until prices hit at least $2 a litre. i dont understand this theory of spending extra money trading up on ur car to save petrol money. but for me, like alot of guys on here i bet think of fuel somewhat as entertainment as well as a neccesity.

Just because Petrol Prices rise doesn’t mean I have less car (even tho I’m changing, its not economy based) I will however do less driving and try n save in other places.

I worked out how much I spend on lunch every day for work and I waste so much money now it’s not funny, so unless you can say you’re tighter on money everywhere else, I think we can all make small cuts in other departments without having a colossal outcome.
On that note; when you’re undergoing a big project, like building a house, I could understand trying to pinch every dollar as your time and money would be spread over a wide number of items/services without having to think about run around Petrol!

One pack less of smokes a week, grab a bottle of water out of the fridge a couple time a week instead of buying drinks, less phone calls, less shopping, use less water/electricity etc if you are really feeling it…

It all adds up for sure, but selling cars at the sign of a few cents.
