Hey just wondering what people have done to there EB engine bays to make them look a bit tidier, obv with the air filter just chilling on the top doesnt really look to crash hot, yea if people cold put some pics up would b good

Hmmm, given you have indicated you have an air filter on top of the engine, you have the center point injection setup.

The best thing to do is to upgrade it all to a multi point injection. It will look better, and perform better to boot. Actually, if you are willing to go to all that trouble, you may as well go for the BBM manifold from the EF/EL.

But, for some simpler and cheaper ideas, just a good clean and splash some paint around on those parts looking a bit daggy.

Also, I think you can reroute the engine loom and hide most of the wires under the manifold.

I wiped my engine bay down with a wet rag and a bit of soap and it looks a million miles better, even with that 10 minutes of effort. Painting the tappet cover also looks pretty damn neat, especially if you sand back the raised bits to aluminum. There's also a how-to guide in the tech docs of polishing aluminium, if you do do the MPFI conversion it'd be the perfect time to polish the manifold before you put it on.
