nah, old tint will have to come off. Just go around to tint places and see if they do any darker than legal stuff. heaps of places do it, even francise type places.

my front 2 windows are 35% by them selves...... but rest of car (rearwindow+2xrearpassengerwindows) have 18% over the top of the 35%.... looks good but i think i might get 18% chucked ove the top on front windows also.... and yes it is needed here in perth... especially when u have no aircon!!!!!LOL

I have 20% and it's still not dark enough.. Cops have looked at it before without saying a thing either.

Almost every place I have been to in SA will do darker than legal tinting, although they tell you up fron they are not responsible if it gets defected.

The only place that wouldn't do it, was Tint-A-Car.

Can the rear window tint be removed without damaging the rear demisters? Mine has bubbled :(

Know anyone who has a steam dream? I used that to take my tinting off my old crown, as it had gone purple, and the rear demister survived without a scratch. A more commercial one of these is what the tint companies use, steam to moisten the adhesive, then remove it
