nightshades is absoulte junk. one of the worst things on the marked as far as im concerened. not only does it reduce visibility of ur brake lights but it also reduces the gloss of them and makes them look dirty and usualy irregular in color. not to mention it can destory some plastics.
if you must use it then i sugest u have the dosh for a spare set of lights handy.
