Thats only because i put a special order in and got some that were bigger than what most people would get for a 15' mag. Just for the usual 215/60 costs about $140 each. Not a bad price really

I decided to go a little cheapo for my 17"s when i replaced them, figuring i was replacing the car at the end of the year anyway.
Got Nexen N3000 silica compound, directional tyres... and funnily enough they absolutely s**t over any tire i've had before! i had falken ST115's on the front ($260 each), which wore out after 12k - 15k kms, and the bridgestone grid II on the rear were terrible in the wet. how much are the nexens? i paid $145 each! fitted, balanced and driving away! they are wearing nicely, grip fantastically in the dry or wet and are a quiet tyre... couldn't be happier for the price. mate got a set on his ED, 16"s tho, and he's over the moon! much better than the bridgestones he had before... id suggest checking the nexen's out!
