ok ive got rid of the towball and one of the two bolts that hold it.
the second bolt isnt moving one bit and ive rounded it pretty badly
trying to get it off.
does any one have any suggestions or know how to take this second
bolt off because im out of ideas.

angle grinder?

grind new sides for the bolt?

or cut it off and try drill the bolt out...

well i got stuck into the other bolt with a hacksaw and that seemed to work ok. im reluctant to use the hack on this bolt because its close to the bumper and scratches it.
keep the suggestions and ideas coming

what GAZ said is basically the only way ur gonna do it.

USe lots of CRC/WD40 too hehe

and dont forget to plug the holes up when ur done. so it doenst rust out.

mecrinch is a brand of spanner that grips the side of the nut
not the corners ideal for rounded nuts I have a set myself
12 spanners can do 30ish different sized nuts
good in most situations but not in really tight spaces ie limited spanner movement 10-25 degrees
may be worth looking at.

if u have acess to it one try a rattle gun and a single hex impact socket... or remove the bumper and than do it...

lol thats the reason im trying to get it off, so i can remove the bumper.
ill try and file the sides so i can give it another go today. thanks to everyone, keep the ideas coming

like gaz said the grinder on it and put some maskin tape round the bolt head on the actual rear bar so it prevents it from gettin burnt with the grinder sparks, cut 2 of the sides of and then u wil have to flat sides to get a monkey wrench on to it thats wat my mate did and it worked fine and didnt damage the rear bar at all
