Hi all,
The front windows on my EL are both dodgy, the passanger front will actually derail if you lower it all the way down and then raise it without pulling the top of the window inwards as it goes up. The drivers window seems to tilt forwards when you raise it and once it is forwards it slows right down and takes ages to close. Silicon spray doesn't help much so I'm thinking that the tinting forward is deflecting half the upwards force forward. Is there a tick to getting the alignment right? cheers Frank |

Elongate the mounting holes on the plate that moves up and down - you'll need to remove the PW assy to get to it properly and file/drill the existing holes.
That'll give you plenty of glass slant adjustment to sort it out. While you're at it check the wear on the plastic carrier and the up cable swage - most likely will already be wearing through - couple of small flat washers with slots between it and the plastic glued in will sort that out too.

So you mean the plastic pulley things at the ends of the uprights? |

Look at the cable end that pulls the sliding carrier upwards - picture it lifting the window glass weight numerous times over 10-15 yrs.
