Thinking that myself. Missus likes them. Might wait till the bar is on and the rear is done then see how it looks.

Looks really good. Twinlights would look stupid.. the XR50 bar for AU's imo looks silly with all those circular lights.

Tend to agree with you Glenn, that is why the series III TE/TS cars looked so good I think, they kept the std lights and packed a punch.

More bulk to the TS bar than the BA XR bar, thats why I like it but you cvan certainly see where the BA/BF XR/GT bars get there lookds from.

Hi There,
I have been thinking about doing a similar thing to my, but do not know how to go about it. Is it easy to do? Are there any instructions or something to give me an idea Thanks Tim

As I said there is a family resemblence but as you can see the TS bar has more bulk around the drivbing lights as well as the sides. I do not deny the similarity but I do say they look different enough that is why I went with the TS and not more more easily available XR bar.

EF on ED, BA XR on EF/EL, BA XT on EF, BF on ED. There are no instructins but you will get lots of help from people here, even if they do want to stir the pot sometimes. . What you need to do first is decide what look you want on your car and get started. Ask and people will help. |

i'll go the other way and say it is easy.
if you want some ideas just PM the guys who have done it. i'm sure between us we have some different ideas that would make the ultimate bar. I had no experience with fibreglass or anything when i made mine and managed to pull it off. don't be scared to have a crack at it.

I'm interested in giving this sort of thing a shot.
Got lots of free time coming up. So why not. Just wondering what are ur recomendations for making a bar. Making it entirely out of fibreglass, or using that locktite urethane to bond the two bars together. Ive never done fibreglassing before, but know a few ppl who used to do it. Also i thought fibreglass doesnt stick to the ABS plastic (if thats what it is). I'm really on the edge of deciding to do this, but these few problems are making it hard to take the plunge. Cheers |

I've used fibreglass on my bars, and they've been on the car for a few years.
They've developped a few cracks but most of that was because of a car hitting me.
