Using BA XR rear, already started. TS Series III rear bar will cost about $400 anmd that is fiberglass, the chief of finances won't wear that. LOL.

Definately has potential. But really needs the paint finished on the bonnet and bar. Keep us posted.

That work with the addition of a new rear will completly remove the pansyness of the EF (compared to the ED and later BA). I love the bonnet, custom job as well?

The bonnet is done by myself as is the bar.

Been a while, so I thought I would post some pic of where I am today with paint. Finally got some time off with Xmas. Very hard to do this amount of work when it your every day car.
1st pic is the XB/XC Bonnet undercoated, paint will go on tomorrow.[/img]

2nd Pic are my Twinlight surrounds paiinted but as before no clear. [/img]

3rd pic is the XB/XC Scoop painted in a Dark Metalic Grey. [/img]

4th Pic is the Rear bar, again painted but not clear coated. Lower BA XR on an EF Fear Bar.[/img]

5th Pic is the front bar painted, still has to be clear coated and buffed and then fit to the car. [/img]

I have remounted the washers to the Wiper surround, looks neater. Hope you like. And yes I know some people don't like the Twinlights, but as we all know there are no XR fronts for a Fairmont and I want to keep by Fairmont Bonnet. Will post more pics as work continues.

Well finally the parts have been fitted up, still need a little work ie Wash, Buffing and Polish but looking good, even if I do say so myself. Here are a few pics of the almost finished work.

Pics 1 & 2 show the Front Bar & Bonnet from 2 angles. Love the Twin Lights, they came up great and after I set them last night, Wow, Light, great Low Beam std 55w globes and Fantastic High Beam std 100w globes. Really lights up the night now. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Pic 3 is of the Rear Bar, I still have to fit the exhaust tip as I need to move the exhaust towards the centre by about 40mm. Now I need to modify my Twin tips so they will fit, to long now  .

Pisc 4 & 5 show the washer jets in their new location in the front under the bonnet. Good trick for those that fit XR8 Bonnet Bulges to their EF/EL's.

Hope you guys like, I do :D .
