Just thought I woiuyld post these. Just started stage 2 of my exterior mods, Stage 1 being the bonnet. I will post more pics as I progress. I am Grafting a TS50 Front Bar to a EF Fairmont Front Bar. I thought of the BA XR track but there are a few around now, so let's hope she works out. In am going to bond them together and then fiberglass the rear of the bar to reinforce it. The front will be filled and smoothed. Also have a BA XR rear skirt to fit to the rear but that is another stage.

Yeah love the idea! Its good to see people go out and creat their own ideas rather than buying off the shelf gear. I mean venom bars and stuff have their place but originality is better!

Should be able to mount some decent lights down on the bar, something thats not easy to do an make it look good on an EF.

One of the problems I am having is finding the right lights, they are oval and the opening for the lights is 125mm wide by 105mm high, makes it hard to find anything aftermarket. It's not really an original idea, EFFalcon did it with a BA XT Bar and others have done with the BA XR bars, I just used a different doner that was all. I think it is good to think outside the square and as I think the original XR body kits leave a bit to desire I have gone this way, Following others but being different in my own way. That is what moding cars is all about, putting your own signiture on your car and being content with what you have done.

atleast your in NSW, so we can rest assured the 2 BA XR side/rear cars in heritage green won't be together any time soon ;)
have you made sure you'll have enough cleanrance once the bars are togehter.
looks like the bar will be considerably lower
