Fairly sure any AU2/3 bonnet (non xr/ute) and any AU headlights can be used.

My stock headlights fit with a series 1 TE/TS50 bar.

Any fairmont bonnet or Series 2 onwards, standard lights work fine.

Silver T Series ran standard lights, the rest were colour coded.

The bonnets aren't the same across all AU models.

I'm not well versed on this or anything, but I think the "sr"s have the fairmont bonnet, which is different to the forte/xr bonnet.

I don't know what bonnets they run or whether the fairmont/xr bonnets are interchangable.

Once again, not sure what the differences are exactly, just that they are different.
With a bit of mluck someone else will know a bit more than me. I have a feeling they run the fairmont bonnet.

sorry should have made it clearer, Any fairmont bonnet, and mid series bonnet, as in one the does not step down through the middle. has to have the grill fitted to the Bar, so it needs the clearance.

Here. one that looks like this..

If you want to run an XR50 bonnet (which isn't a genuine ford front bar) then you can use the other style of bonnet, which is what I have.

Yeah, that's the type of bonnet I was talking about, DC. The SR/Fairmont or whatever.
Like I said, I'm not very researched on it.

I wasn't either, until I got one, then had to learn.

I only found out because I need to replace my bonnet and a mate was wrecking an AU... it was an "SR" though.

{DESCRIPTION}
{DESCRIPTION}

Kind of just trying to outline the differences.
The XR bonnet is a bit longer (red circle) and doesn't have that straight center (blue)

I never actually tried fitting the bonnet to my car, it may well fit, but I didn't think it was likely.

so im kinda confused now because the bonnet he has on that ute looks like the au xr6 bonnet that is already on my girlfriends car, is there a difference between his bonnet and the au xr bonnet?
