Hey guys, I've got an EF XR6 with 19" BF Typhoon wheels and need some new tyres.
What would you recommend in terms of tyre size, 235, 245, 255? What's the best? Any advice would be great. |

I had 245's (18") on the front of mine and had to remove the top balljoints grease nipple! So not sure if I'd go any bigger than 235's with 19's on but I saw a NF with 275's on the back and it looked awesome!

I've had 245's for a while now and there is just too much rubbing on the front guards. Going to try out 235's this time.

I don't get it you ask what size and then reply telling us the answer you've already worked out from previous experience

Post count up? Why would I possibly care about how many posts I have?
It was a question which didn't receive much feedback, so I did a bit of research on other forums and came to the conclusion my 235s would be more suited to my car to help avoid rubbing issues. |

The reason being that I didn't know the answer before I asked the question.
Why would I ask a question to something I already know the answer to? Information on tyre sizes was giving to me through another thread after I had posted on this forum. I had always had rubbing issues with my guards, but never knew much about tyre sizes to put two and two together. |

Standard size would be as 245/35.
Going to a 235/35 will likely be more expensive (being an odd size), and will be a smaller tyre, altering your speedo reading (if used on the rear wheels).
