Thought i'd give a quick little progress update (mainly to show that i haven't been slacking off )

The car has been completely sanded smooth including all corners, crevises etc etc. There's a few spots that need a quick lick of primer were the colour shows through a bit, but that's nothing major and will be half a days work tops.

The kit is now glassed up and almost ready for primer. The air duct on the front bar needed to be reshaped around the edges and also the bumper bar and front skirt needed to be modified a fair bit to accept the cooler. Also, the rear bar has had it's exhaust opening sealed off and smoothed out, so there will be no exhuast tip visible.

So basically next full day we get, we will be priming the whole body kit and any small bits on the car that's needed, then comes the last run of sanding before the car is ready for paint. It's been a Loooong time coming, but it wont be too much longer now...

Here are some pics we took about an hour ago. In the pics you can see that i've run a line of bog between the join. Still need to sand that back, but it was done as the kit was not a perfect match to the bumper and left a fair few gaps. Other than that the kit is ready for primer. Anyways hopefully the pics will give you an idea of what's to come

Yeh i gave that project the flick. Way too much stuffing around to get it to flow right, so i opted for a prefab MMM kit from AWC. Someone else bought the rexy front bar tho and they will be picking up from were i left off...
