just wondering if you can repair scratches off machined faced rims, they are not scratches as such but more like clear coat peeling from around lock nuts. how would i do this myself? any ideas? desperate for an answer...

thanks guys! the problem is there is only one company that makes a clear that will stick to chrome or polished surfaces and it is efing dear.I have spoken with a few wheel repairers and the only way to fix is to remove all the old clear and redo but it will happen again

wat if i sand it back and polish it using a cut or something could that work?

Yes but when you do that you will have to polish all the time If you decide to go that way use the info in the alloy polish sticky
