hi

can a radiator support panel be spot welded using a butane torch and a brass oxy welding rod or mig wire going to get one welded in and wanted to know

how would you use mig wire or brass welding rods with a butane torch to weld light steel

Nope you wont get enough heat and it wont be concentrated in a small area for it to work.
Welding steel is a bit different to fixing water pipes!

it'll pobably end in tears but, if you are VERY careful and use the smallest rods you can lay your hands on, lowest amperage you can on an arc welder and tack only......I have in the past but its very easy to blow holes....
