My Vennom Front Bar. Try and go direct to them in Queensland..

Should be about $550 plus freight + it needs some finishing when it gets here, as it is a mould.

yeah man. your bonnet looks a little more even than mine. your lights also seem to fill the holes better. having the mesh pretty up front looks good too. i may have to do that myself. just bought the venom side skirts and rear bar, haven't got them on yet but i notice the skirts are not very chunky. ah well, if i really wanna change them i can.

still lookin for more kw's too are u? what kinda torque does that thing put out?

Front bar looks good.
Tourque is is 1185nm

With the plnnum i may end up sacrificing some of the tourquw (seeing as i have plenty) for some mroe kw. Not really chasing more power, just working on improving fuel economy and maintaining reliability.

So far i've gone 40,000km without any trouble but when driven hard it uses 20lt per 100km which can get expensive. If you drive a little more sedately then you get around 16lt, which is still not good.

I took ot down about 6 months ago but melted a pistno in the first run so i was running on 5. got low 13's on 5 burning oil and with a damaged head gasket so i guess it'd be good for low 12's in present trim.

the XR lights are few & far between for a reasonable price - rapier paid $650 brand new for his conversion. i'd doubt you'll be seeing any too much cheaper than that - even 2nd hand ones. look in the trading post/wreckers etc - but expect to spend a lot!

hehe but i got my entire EL XR front end conversion, incl painting, for $600... :P

$650 new? that's alright. i paid over $900 for mine from ozeparts.com.au. still, i'd rather that than second hand ones cuz mine look all shiny and new, and they are geniune too.

from the bottom of the lip to the top of the gap is about 20cm and across is about 90cm. it gets a little smaller as it goes in though.

and those twinlight things are crap. if you're going for a unique looking headlight it's alright, but it looks nothing like real xr lights on the later e series.

Agreed. Much better off leaving GLi lights up front IMO. Actually... GLi venom would prolly be my personal choice out of all front bar/headlights. Or the GTO bar... was good enough for supercars its good enough for me 8-)

chucked the side skirts and rear bar on today. still needs a touch of fine tuning (ie. one side of the bar is hanging a touch lower than the other). and unfortunately i managed to put a little crack in one of the skirts cuz i didn't have it in properly when i was screwing it on. bit of paint will cover it up. will post pics tomorrow.
