Thanks, Peter have a look at my photo...there's not much to it. Either one of the 4 clips has cracked or the spring is bent/snapped. Just pull it off and have a look. |

I found it best to move the mirror (the glass part) fully inwards, so there was a gap on the outside between the glass and housing. Then get a screwdriver in there and carefully prise the mirror away from the clips. I was surprised how easily it came off.
