Hi, i posted a while ago the question about the fairlane and the escort...

Now the fairlane is all done and under control but the escort has been sittin down the back in the weather for 6-7 months and the vynl roof has givin up.
Not to mention some bastard cat or birds or something has scratched a fair sized hole in the vynl, i didn't want to take the vynl roof off, knowing how much prep work was involved.
So if you could advise me as to anywhere i can get a replacement vynl roof or failing that some advice on stripping the roof and combating the three decades of surface rust befor i paint.
