No worries, that seems to be the norm on similar conversions I have seen, was just under the impression you came up with another solution.

I'm looking at getting it on a dyno soon as i have been having a few probs with it .Mostly when it gets to running temp it starts to ping.

one thing that i can't see is how you fitted BA door cards to the E serie door they are completely different style and shape i would love to know how.

When i get some time i will take some pics of the doors when they are open. then you can see the difference between the door and the trim. there are a few gaps to fill which you cant see with the doors closed. The interior is still a long way from finished. still have to fill the gaps in the door trims, make a roof lining and re.trim all the plastic trim pieces.

f**k, and such a nice car to, I'm assuming it's a write off?

Are you gonna try and get it back and repair or just be done with it and start a new?

Especially losing a complete xr front end.

Any damage to the ba engine?

don't Know whats going to happen yet. I think the timing cover is broken and the left hand rail is bent. I cant do anything to it until i sort out the insurance.
