Is it a painted Spoiler? Got a photo?

Yep, as said already, quite rare. Took me a couple of years to find a genuine one.

Should look like this.

Yep that's it.

So what you have there as a 'donor' car, could possibly be a genuine XR6 Wagon, the rarest E Series variant made.

Check the diff, as it should be a 3.45 LSD.

Doupt its a genuine XR6, (well maybe the tailgate) the diff is an LSD though, but someone has been smoking it up too much and she is abit worn  but the center is going to be rebuilt and fitted to my ED 8-)

Oh and its also a factory manual, ECU code 1DAD

The spoilers were only fitted to ED and EF XR Wagons, of which quite limited numbers were made. The E series XR wagons are one of the rarest modern fords around.

You can buy fibreglass reproductions, but the real deal is rubber.

There was a Fordmods Member based in Melbourne that was able to do one, but I seem to have lost his details.

No worries Ben, I will keep my eyes open. I imagine I'd also need stronger struts so the damm tailgate doesn't fall and brain me :) .

BTW Awesome wagon, very insperational.
