i got pulled over on the w.e drivng through warragul by a an unmarked traffic control car
he ran the 100 mm clearance wheels under my car and bang hit my mufflers from my stock exhust sitting to low, he also saw damage to my right rear tyre which was from when my car was to low at the front and tyre ruubed on my guard and claimed that my guard was fouling the tyre. i also have to change over my blue parker globes back to white which i have no problem with.

so here i the list that i recieved

100 mm clearence

blue parker globes

tyres not to foul guard which i still don't understand

any help of what to do would be greatfully appreciated :D

With the tyres rubbing, i would put some stockies on when you get it checked. Stockies shouldn't foul. :D

always been 100mm mate from anypoint on the car, including the mudflaps if the officer wants to be a pain. And on the rim's "goody21" your aloud to go 2 sizes up and 2 across( not sure about the across bit, so don't quote me on that one.) from your your largest rim on your tyre plaquard. but anyway if the tyre dosent foul the guard, then don't worry about it just check first with a mate, to be safe. globes are easy and as for the muffler go the exhaust shop and check the exhaust rubber mounts, they may be a bit sagged with age should only set ya back $20 a rubber

You can go as big as you want with your rims as long as you don't change the rolling diameter of the tyre. It's just that you can only usually only go up 2 inches or 3 at the very most before this happens

Different exhaust system will only help if the hanger bits are a different length...just ask the exhaust place to tuck it up for you if you aren't doing it yourself.

Damn, I lived in Drouin for 3 years (moved to Pakenham in December), I never had any hassles with the cops down that way, only all the speed cameras on the Hwy between Warragul & Pakenham.

How'd ya go with the exhaust?

yeah my old mazda 323 got defected a while ago now. for exhaust to loud.
had to go to the motor registry for it, i took it there the first time and they wouldnt even check it because it was too low, they told me the limit was 100mm with 68kg in each seat, mine was 90mm with just me.
