Not sure, but your car sure looks arctic blue!
Maybe the EF had a different name/code for the colour from EL's arctic blue......?

Where's Warlock? His EL is Q9 (IIRC) and yeah, it's not reported aywhere... A good auto paint shop will nkow about it and be able to match it. My colour (W6) is hard to get too, mainly because it is supposed to be an AU colour.

From his gallery:

data_mine amaretto is a pretty common colour on the AU's. You hardly ever see it on EL.

No it'll say Falcon. After all it's the same car, just got extras on the inside.

As for amaretto, yeah but until I figured out it was an AU colour, looking up W6 for an EL resulted in white paint.

Dunno about everywhere else, but the amaretto ELs seem to be coming out of the woodwork. When I got mine, I wouldn't see another on the road for weeks at a time, now I see many of them daily. All with 'new' plates, some maybe Canberra is importing them from somewhere...

Hey guys,
sorry to change topic, but just wondering how your subs sound positioned as they are? (see the pic in Gaz gallery)
looks like a pretty neat setup (if ya hide the amp)

Cheers,
Adz

GTBob does it again ;)

cheers! haha, now i can stop worring :)

my subs like that sound pretty good to me. they are 2x12" in a ported box, so with that in mind they produce a pretty tight sound i think :)

only down side i think atm, is the rear speakers are just obove the subs and i did manage to make them cut out once, possibly from the subs? but they started working after i turned the car off :)

i am going to put a breather in where the factory sub goes, just find the grill and open it up so there a bit more room for air

The model code will tell you if it is a fairmont code should be 18432 for EF1 18632 for EF2 & 18732 for EL hope this helps

Bob

Similar here. Got mine and only saw one other for ages. Recently though have seen a few more around, including a fairmont ghia (looked a bit strange with the chrome) and a Gli wagon..

You definatley notice when you see one though, being the nicest EL colour that they are :D  :P
