The more I think about it, the better the idea sounds.. Perhaps buy an extra set of tail lights and experiment. When I get back, I think I'll do the same even though it'll be harder to find lane tails.

I never thought of tinting my rear lights till I saw the pics and thought it would suit my car.

But why only use and refer to using the spray? What would be so hard or wrong with buying some proper window tint from the shops and just tint one side of the lens. Professionals might use the heat wrap tint but for the home tint you just need some metho and water or non alkaline window cleaner. My dad and myself have always done our cars ourselves and they have never faded or bubbled, even after 12 years!

That's why you remove the lights from the car first :P

Just give them a little punch with the palm of your hand, striking from front to back of the car and they will come out.

I dont think you'll break them they are pretty tough.

Yeah I sort of tried doing that but they didn't budge. I am worried if I do it too hard I might hear a "God awful Snap or Crack,"and then be shelling out a few hundred bucks for replacements :( :?

I saw a 2001 Red Commonwhore SS ute whilst walking thru the City today and I noticed the owner had done the old Darken the Taillights thing I have been talking about here. And thought that looks cool. But then on closer inspection this Holdung owner had sprayed the "Nightshade" stuff too close and with too much as you could see the awful dried run marks on the taillights.

I was only wanting to give my Taillights a sort of slight Tint like you see on a lot of the new European cars and not the 'Fully Sic Moite" darkening you see on a lot of Commonwhores lol.

Well I finally got around to doing this darkening taillights Mod. Anyways I think I have managed to get them a few shades darker than normal and not over the top ""lebified" dark in any way. Yes you can see all rear Brake & Indicator lights etc for any of you gasping out their. PICS to come
