what is the reception like when you put the antenna under the front quarter/guard???

The other guy here said that is wasnt too bad. As for me i cant be bothered yet because i need to paint the whole front end so if i decided to do the mod it will be then.

BTW everyone....the ford got defected today. I got it running so did some burnouts and the cops just came round...defected for tyres and indicators not working. I had a couple indicators not working so i got f**k because of it.

Least they didnt take the car or the licence or jail or fine. I guess they couldnt be f**k with paper work on a wednesday.

No I would say you got done for doing burnouts and the only reason they didnt impound it, fine you, or use the 'hoon' laws on you, was because they could defect it for a couple of obvious thing. Same result, your cars off the road for a few days.

Indicators and tyres isn't so tragic though, as you won't need to go through Regency to get it cleared.

if its in the guard it loses a bit of distance you can go from the transmitter, but i listen to the news and cds most of the time. plus central vic has f**k loads of stations
