Allright, i did a search and found crap all.
Can anyone tell me what kind of glue i'm supposed to use to attach the rear fairmont boot garnish? I'm attaching the number plate surround and the bar. Thanks..

its meant to be screwed on isn't it?
if you do want to use this method, i suggest that you use double sided tape instead of glue which may break away after a few months

yeah its meant to be screwed in, which means drilling holes...
if your gonna use glue, get the strongest stuff you can find. araldite maybe? i reckon a glue would be stronger than a double sided tape.

If you can't or don't want to screww it on. I would suggest using Urethane.

it does screw in, but there's a rubber thing that's inbetween the actual chrome and the boot. i wanna know what glue to use on the rubber to glue onto my boot, then i can screw the chrome through the rubber onto the boot..
ya get me? Anyone who's do it will know what i'm talking aobut

Usually rubber gaskets like that are not glued on, just sandwiched bteween the badge or garnish in this case, and the panel.
If you want to glue it on, Silicone or Urethane.

When you drill the holes in your boot lid. Paint around and inside the holes with some cold galvanising paint. This will help prevent the holes rusting out.
