Learn to use proper spelling and grammer. Take 5 mins and write it all properly and then maybe people will give you an answer.

looks fixed now i can understand it The 255's will put the speedo out a little bit. When your speedo shows 100kph you are really doing 102kph. Easiest fix is to fit 235/35 tyres and the speedo will be spot on |

Of course the width will effect the speedo, the profile of the tyre will change, The profile is a percentage of the width of the tyre. therefore change the width the profile lowers. d***head, so pull your beeping head in and go do something constructive.

How the... does the width of the tyre affect the speedo? Don't you mean wall height of the tyre?Easiest fix is to fit 235/35 tyres and the speedo will be spot on The height of the wall is always relative to the width of the tyre. He could keep the same width and go a lower profile, but i thought it would be better to keep the same sidewall profile and choose a narrower tyre to help clearing the guards |

I stand corrected. It's a good day when you learn something new. Today I learnt 2 things; 1st thing:- Tyre aspect ratio, what is it and why is it important? Aspect ratio refers to the ratio between the tyres width and its side wall height. That is, a 205/60/15 size tyre has a 60% aspect ratio which means its side wall height is 60% of its width which is 205mm. Note that this is a ratio, not an absolute measurement so a 205/60 has a different side wall height measurement to a 195/60 even though the ratio is the same. The 15 refers to the wheel size in inches. 2nd thing:- You're a f**k. Constructive enough for you a**hole

More CONSTRUCTIVE feedback on the subject for others like me that just aren't lucky enough to know it all!
There is a common misconception when reading tyre sizes that the profile of the tyre is measured in millimeters which is not correct, so here is a guide on how to read those numbers on your tyres correctly! Tyre Measurements (Passenger Vehicle) 185/60R14 82 185 - Section width in millimeter 60 - Aspect Ratio R - Radial Construction 14 - Rim Diameter in inches 82 - Load index Key features of a reduced aspect ratio are; * less side wall flex hence the car will turn-in better with more precision, * greater carcass rigidity allowing higher effective slip angles. * Ideal for bigger Selbys Swaybars * increased effective spring rate at the wheel often requiring reduced physical spring rate * increased NVH * ride quality deteriorates * greater probability of tyre and wheel damage Source: Whiteline Automotive There! I feel better now

always put your skinnier tyres up front cause you need the clearance. The rears are usually ok, sometimes guard rolling needed.
