Hi
I have a NL fairlane, wanting to put HID lights in it but have been told the car is not designed for it and it is not legal, how can I modify the car to add these lights and make them legal? I had thought projector lenses but they don't seem to be available on the NL like they where on the NA. I did have them on the EF falcon with the headlights adjusted down correctly but that was about 7 years ago and they where not illegal back then. Regards Barry

They have always been illegal.
There is no way to make them legal. To be legal they must be ADR certified. What you can do is spend a shed load of time on your own headlights and fit projectors like I have. Still no way near legal, but they work a hell of a lot better than whacking in some H4 Hi-Lo HID's, and don't attract much attention. |

I made mine.
I bought the projector units by themselves and fitted them in to my headlights. |
