I am wondering,,,,,,,I ordered a replacement set of blades, as well as new wipers the peice the blade fits into and attaches onto the arm, I forgot to ask ford if blades are already fitted to these units, if so it is pointless me spending an extra $65 for blades.

I also replaced the blades on my echo, it is a Jan 2004 model and the blades still worked, but needed replacing, 2 years for a set of blades isn't too bad indeed. Yay OEM. lol

If you have ordered a set of "Blades" then you have ordered the upper part of the wiper arm, the "refill" is the rubber strip.

I would cancel your order, genuine Trico Blades with refills are around $20ea in any Auto Store. Part Number TB560

if there is enough interest from Brisbane area members i would be willing to sell genuine ones at $10 a pair and donate a precentage (somewhere like 25% or more) to fordmods.

I ended up paying $35 each side for the blade and refil as a unit, which isn't too bad because the original blades had worn, these feel nice and tight with no leteral movement, they just feel new. lol

If and when we get some rain (been 280 days since decent rainfall) i will let you know how good they are.

$35 is about right, as I seen them for between $17-$21 each.
